I'm sure you'll not lack for someone to love this little bundle of fur and joy.
Oh no, poor Meatball! It's good of you to have taken her in, and now to let her go. She'll be loved and cuddled and not mom-catted :)
Positive thoughts that she'll be at the perfect home in no time. :-)

>keeping her any longer is just selfish.
but completely justified! Darn cute little fur heart-stealer!
Is she in a separate room? I'll come play with her a little bit on Saturday.
no, i left them on their best cat behavior.
you know, if i could, i would move to philly just so i could adopt meatball. meatball is great!
surely someone can give her a good home. glad momcat didn't eat her.
In reply to your reply in other post ... yes, let's meet, I'll email ya.
About Meatball .. I have a friend who was ready to fill out an application on-line, but she's been a little lax on taking her cat to the vet and she thinks she may not have a chance at adopting Meatball ... she will take current cat to vet asap and promises to stay current with vet visits .. any suggestions?
best advice is to fill yourself up with love.
I'm tempted, Kyle. Neither Simon nor Marble plays with Tekiah the way she wants to play, as she's so much younger. So Tekiah doesn't get the play time she wants.
But...four cats AND a dog here? Though...I will be moving...I don't know. Thoughts?
you have a small place and a big dog.
and you already get to go to heaven for pulling that cat out of the pipe.
What, no points for taking the wretched Tekiah, Whirling Black Tornado of Death, in off the street? The ingrate.
Snicker.
You keeping her is selfish? I have to argue that.
You keeping her means that the tens? hundreds? of us get to enjoy her as well as her owner.
Also: you say she's the best cat. You take care of many cats that are nowhere near as nice to you as she is. You suffered through losing oneear right before the second batch of wiggles. You do so much for these animals, you could hoard them and lock yourself in a room with them for the rest of eternity and you'd still be doing the right thing. Keeping one for yourself isn't selfish at all.
I realise there are other reasons you might have to say goodbye, but I'm just sayin' I'll miss the pictures.
Knowing Kyle, it's safe to say there will always be kitty pix.
Seems to me that Mom-cat should be the one to go, as she can't play well with others...
yeah, if anybody wants to take momcat ... she mostly just sits in the closet, she's not much work....
last time someone tried to catch her though there was an emergency room visit required...
so ... mr. volk -- i'm looking at TN sometime around ... june 21.... how's that work for you?
June 21 would work very well.
I am currently trying to convince my fiance to add a third little one to the mix.
aw, i really wish my fam could take her...but we're maxed out at 2 cats, 2 dogs (which would rule it out anyway), and multiple ever-spawning hamsters and fish. ah well.
It DOES only cost me $49 to fly to Philly right now... :)
but if you have any trouble finding a home for the little kittie, i'd be more than happy to help. i've got a vet school arsenal of people who pretty much foster and place animals for a living at my disposal. and of course, i'd take her if i wasnt animally maxed out as well:-)
so when do you all play quizzo again? perhaps this summer i'll have time to join in if the offer still stands.

I swear that we found her older sister in the laudry room a few months ago. I wish we weren't at max capacity with our 6. Maybe place momcat and keep her. I agree about the photos.
BTW are you still doing the gun owner project? I might have someone for it. YIS, WRI
before i could place momcat i'd have to catch momcat. last time that happened a hospital visit was necessary. i think momcat's a permanant fixture here.
as for the gun owners, that's going full swing. hook me up!
Going to miss the little cutie. People are saying give momcat away. How nutty :P She's coming around a little more and if she was around someone new she would probably lose her mind even more and hide in a closet forever. Meatball is more adoptable. I would love to take her if you could ship her to Canada :D
Solution: advertise Meatball's availability in photographer communities. That way, Meatball gets a permanent home, and we still get painfully cute noseless kitty pictures.
Not that any of us here are addicted. We could stop anytime we want...
Really.
poor meatball! ~snuggles her~
hi:
i just stumbled upon your lj, and i have to tell you i have fallen in love. it seems synchronicity may have a hand in all of this.
i recently have moved to jersey city, and am looking for a pet companion to share my apartment with. and then shouldn't i stumble upon your livejournal, and who should i see but little Sung Meatball.
she is the kitty for me. i know it!
i just put in my application -- i have a clean big apartment that i occupy by myself. the only thing that worried me is if they will consider my application, as i do not live in philadelphia. do you know if that will be a problem?
anyway, i hope i get approved!! she seems perfect to me in every way! |
