That's okay, I promise not to tell Travis Bickle or John Hinkley that you like her Kyle...
(She's an outsnading actress, and I enjoyed "Little Man Tate" too).
I felt the same way (and also liked Kristy McNichol better! -- I had pics of her on my wall, along with Sean Cassidy, who was like the fey male Christy). Talk about early indications of bi-ness, whoo boy.
Useless Trivia factoid: I have the same birthday as Jodie Foster
So do I! Scorpios represent!
I am so jealous!
You get to share your birthday with somebody cool.
I get to share mine with Jon Knight...from New Kids On The Block. You have more birthday cred than me;)
Well, my boyfriend shares his birthday with Bob Dylan, now that's some birthday cred!
I share mine with Michael Jackson...is that something I should even be admitting?
That must be a great conversation starter at parties;)
I try not to admit it in public generally ;-)
What a great photo! It was wonderful to have two unabashedly ass-kicking women as speakers at my graduation.
Kristy MacNichol was the best then, but Jodie just rocks now.
True enough, who knows where Kristy is now, yet Jodie is still cool.
Kristy's at home living off her royalties and wondering why Kyle never called her.
sadly, christy mcnichol knows exactly why i don't call her anymore -- phoebe cates.
big sore spot between christy and i.
MMM...Phoebe Cates... In my teens I used to buy Seveteen magazine religiously and she was my favorite model. (Gosh, this thread is revealing all my dorky girl crushes of the past).

Kevin Kline's a lucky man!
Ah, yes, PHEOBE.
Neat to see her without movie makeup on-- especially since she's my age.
And those are marks of character.
which college was she speaking at?
She looks exquisite - you must have been close?
Yeah, how'd you get so close, KC?
if you work hard enough, someone will eventually pay you to do what you want to do.
i actually took that one with a 200mm lens so that the background would blur out, so i was probably about 15 or 20 feet back for that one. that's a nice distance for an 80-200 lens.
Your photos make people look so real, and not like the robots they normally look like.
they gave her a Doctor of Arts, honoris causa, not sure why she needs one though.
I just saw her in one of the old Kung Fu episodes as a kid. Great shot.
Love the shot, man. Warm, curious, almost Mona-Lisa-like smile. And it's Jody Foster! She looks awesome. I think my 70s crush was more Tatum O'Neal, especially Paper Moon, Bad News Bears (which I own, DVD). Anyway, Jody Foster is amazing -- she's got such beautiful eyes.
Like Glenn Close and Judi Densch, she just gets better with age. What an absolutely wonderful picture.
And she still looks damn good in a corset (see, "Maverick").
Her nose is soooo cute! Very nice shot, sir.
