I've heard a very healthy tea can be made from cat-tails.
milla's tail is more like a scientific sampling of the various dusts from different parts of the house.
Ahh, she's only sharing herself with you! (Aren't pets fun?)
Many congratulations on the recognition your book is garnering. It certainly deserves it. (Going now to enjoy your Desert spread. It posted on a day that had so much happening in it, it should have remembered to schedule itself about 3 extra hours! Day off today - yay for getting the fun things done!)
Holy cow, Kyle! That's amazingly super!
And come on, you KNOW you wanna come with us next week. I'l briiiiibe youuuuu...!
i've been to gettysburg, i wrote all about it right here.
I know; but that was ten years ago, and you weren't ghost hunting. Especially not with WENCHES!
you know, you still have never sent me sundance kid, and i cant get it on itunes.
How is the review? Australia has become as well known for its fear of guns as much as it's machismo and unique wildlife.
the review was pretty positive.
Did you get a copy of the Swedish mag? (If not, would you like a copy, asks the girl who is currently in Sweden...)
they sent me a Xerox photostatic copy, but i'd love a copy of the magazine if you find one. and kent cd's -- we don't have them over here. foolish americans!
I'll drop by a Pressbyrån later today to see what's what, then!
yes we do have Kent CDs!!! you just have to be super with your eyes! *and they're usually in used stores* =D
This book has amazing legs...it just keeps getting picked up all over the place! Congratulations on the coverage.
it makes me so happy to think of Kent pouring over Amelia Magazine and telling their pr person to contact your pr person so that everyone can get together and create art and party!!!
once they see my photos from Pod they'll be all like "we're going to america!"
My cats dip their tails in my tea on purpose, I think, so I'll abandon it and they can drink it themselves. They don't seem to mind the bits of cat fluff and hair left floating in it and I do.
That is awesome re: Marie Claire & Amelia Magazine! Can't wait to see the inevitable Kent album cover you'll photograph:) If anybody else LJ'ed such a hope I'd be like, "Yeah, in your dreams!" but since you are Kyle Cassidy, well, it's hard to explain. It's just one of those things I can totally see happening:)
You should come by Mandell Theater at Drexel at 6:30pm tonight and photograph my friend Cameron Sinclair. He's the founder of Architecture for Humanity and is currently a big charity cheese. He even went to the World Economic Forum this year! (Deleted comment)
so ... hideous ... must ... delete.... klingon...
Oh, man! Come on. Klingons need love, too. ;p
yes, the only question is "which of his gats will he shoot you with for posting his n00dies all over the interwebz"?
Finally got my copy of Armed America today.
excellent. now all these earthquakes and floods will stop.
I had a quick look at Marie Claire in the supermarket today. Did they review the book as well? All I saw was the 4 pages which were just images and writing taken straight out of your book, I don't even recall them saying you had a book, it was written more like you'd done a feature for them. Did I miss something? (It was a quick look and I had a 9 year old nagging me to buy him a new toothbrush so I didn't look as thoroughly as I would have otherwise ;-D)
at the very end on the right hand side (i have a pdf) it says in tiny letters "edited excerpt from armed america by kyle cassidy" -- though i don't mind it looking like i did a feature for australia's most popular fashion magazine....
Hot damn! Congrats!!
re: Milla just stuck her giant fluffy tail in my tea.
Aww! :) :) :) |
