Philadelphia's own Gregory Frost (frostokovich), author of Shadowbridge, Attack of the Jazz Giants, Lord Tophit and others will be reading from Poe: 19 New Tales Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. Today from 2-3:30 across from the Poe house. Science Fiction fans will be pleased to know that Ellen Datlow (ellen_datlow) will be there too.

From the publisher's web page:

A special event in celebration of Edgar Allan Poe’s Bicentennial: Poe: 19 New Tales Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe edited by Ellen Datlow. Hosted by Edward Pettit, Philadelphia's Foremost Poe Scholar on Saturday, February 21 2pm-3:30pm at the German Society of Pennsylvania, 611 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. [Formerly at Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site, across the street at 532 N. 7th St., Philadelphia, PA 19123 (215) 597-8780]

I'm sure there will be much discussion and walking through the Poe house with knowledgeable authors and scholars afterwards. Hope to see you there.
