If you were in my Seattle photo workshop, post your best photo (or two) in the comments here. If you have the time, write a sentence or two about your photography and what you liked best about the workshop.

Everybody else, feel free to look back today at all the purdy pixtures and comment.

My favorite photo of the day - that cat only stayed in her arms for a few seconds. Very wiggly. As cats do.
Thank you for the opportunity, Kyle! Playing with the big lights was the best, up there with having some magnificent models, and other local photographers to steal garner knowledge from.
The rest of the Seattle workshop's photos are here.

I particularly loved the Kilroy-type shot of T peeking over the fence, and b/w shot of S--gorgeous!

I'm amazed anyone got a shot of this -- a tribute to your rapid reflexes!

It was hard to choose which ones were my favorites (I'm going to let y'all decide on "best" or not) but these two edged the others out.

The rest (at least, of the ones I did a bit of tweaking on and then posted) can be found here.

I learned SO MUCH. My brain has been bubbling over since then with ideas, not only "ooooh, that would make a great setting for a photo shoot, if I lit it like this and this" but also "hey, if I did this and this to that, I could use it as a reflector and I could just carry it in my purse". This may sound sweeping and overly dramatic, but it's really true--you and circle23 changed my life, and I'm not going to know how much for months, if not years. Thank you!

The two I think I liked best were some feet that wandered by...

.
.
and this last shot I took of the day
.
.

.
.
It was great to be able to experiment and play with the lighting gear, and to see what other photographers (pro and not) were shooting. And photo geeking and exchanging info is great, too.

I meant to add: opinions on any of the others I've worked up are welcome: they can be found here.
