Which reminds me, and I just checked: the Ohio Pen Show is this weekend!
I am just going to be in deep envy of you for a while: there are no pen shows in Seattle, and Richard Binder doesn't go to pen shows he can't drive to. If you get the chance to sit with him and have him modify a nib for you, do so. (His cursive italics are wonderful.)
Are they a reliable brand in general?
I like the look of some of their other models.
Does it make me a cynic that my first reaction was "$23? There must be something wrong with it."
After visiting the site though, and based on your endorsement I may order one. Just, ya know, to clarify that was only my -first- reaction.
I was kind of shocked by the price too, but i bought one a few months back and it writes Very Nicely.
Your blog looks nice, even so it would be far better if you’ll be able to use lighter colors too as a professional design. This will make sure that a lot more readers come to check it out.Informative post by the way!
Oh, and we just got paid for something this week. That pen is finally MINE!!!!!!!
Why OH WHY won't Acme come out with a purple version of their crayon rollerball, so that I can finally pretend to be like Harold. Harold and the Purple Crayon, beloved book of my childhood that I now give to my friends whenever they have firstborns. Edited at 2011-11-04 03:55 am (UTC) | |
