What an attractive kitty cat. And I mean that in a purely platonic human-feline sense, not the other sense. I'll shut up now.
Thank you Diamond.

Our kitty, Ziggy died last Monday. The house has been joyless ever since.

Thanks, he was 16, and although had suffered kidney problems and arthritis, he pulled through and was fine. But weekend before last his eye went odd,we thought conjunctivitis, but it was a tumour, coupled with a bladder blockage which the vet believed was ongoing for some time. He showed no pain or discomfort. Sadly he was too weak for the anaesthetic and didn't make it. But he had a well-loved, well-fed life/

I'm so sorry about Ziggy. May your memories bring you happiness until the joy can return.

Sorry to hear about Ziggy. The joy that echoes is that he had the opportunity for you to be in his life and that he lived a life filled with love and absent of pain.

It never occurred to me that there would be kitty blood donors. Does Diamond get to see what happens with his blood, and have any concept of what he's doing?

Just added a link to Diamond from my post about giving blood. (Just as well there are no photos of me involved.)

Also, they warm beds and keep the invisible things from stomping on you (they do that themselves)!

edit:

i just learned this! a, b, and ab. the a type is the dhs, but some breeds are a or b only. ab is universal acceptably of blood. the others need matched typed.

like 97% of dhs are type a
