I'm not going but have gone to 2 Kaffeklatches at conventions and both were fun and interesting (Justina Robson and Neil Gaiman).
Alas, I would be stalking you but I only have a Nikon D90 and no iPhone.
Not sure if I'll be able to go to ReaderCon but if I can, I'd definitely go.
you should go -- there are lots of odyssey panels!
yeah, ReaderCon's big for Odyssey since it happens when Odyssey is running and the new near-grads usually go for at least one day. Of course, I doubt I have time to get in on any panels since it's coming up pretty soon.
I can't get to Readercon, but you should definitely host a kaffeklatch. I'd go if I were there, even if there weren't any donuts.
The purpose of them, IMO, is for people to be able to find you at a set time. Also free tea and coffee.
I would go to your Kaffeklatch! It would be nice to be able to finally say hi to you.... the last two cons you and I have been at were both such busy events that I never got to BREATHE, let alone say hi.
Wow, this is the first ReaderCon in a zillion years that I wasn't already busy doing something else during... Hmmmmmmmm.
Elizabeth bear and I are doing a workshop together....
Oh man! I was already planning on going to Readercon (for the first time in years (because chaiya
is running it this year)). But! That Saturnight is derby night

You should absolutely do another one, even though I'm inclined not to sign up so that other people would have a chance -- after all, I went to the one at Anticipation. :-)
I'm not going to Readercon, but I would totally go to a kaffeklatch in general.
Also, I'm kind of ecstatic that you used "Kinnearing". The Yarn Harlot's reach is longer than I ever knew!
Can you reveal some more details about the cool stuff you'll be doing? The Readercon website seems light on the details. I'm only 40 minutes from Burlington, so I'm keen.
