While checking for our spider-babies today,  trillian_stars found a NEW spider-sister -- this one in her elaborate web, in hastily repaired tatters after a massive battle, feasting upon some ... something she'd captured -- you can pretty clearly see her fangs engorged in it's shriveling husk.
The world is such a terribly fearsome, unforgiving place if you're a quarter of an inch long. I'd rather get shot in bar fight than have something like this pounce on me in the dark. I suddenly really understand just how lucky I am to have been born near the top of the food chain.
