It's that time of year again. Here are the movies that Roswell and I like to watch around Xmas. Do you have ones that I missed?
Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Ice Harvest
Nightmare before Christmas

Bad Santa, The Ref, and Go are my favorites, but fall under the not-exactly-family-friendly category.
Badder Santa and The Royal Tenenbaums.
::waving:: Hello mizkit, fancy seeing you here, as well as over at Irish Kate's! ;-)
Bad Santa and A Christmas Story
Scott and Ivy McCloud keep telling people to watch "Arthur Christmas". One these days I might, if we decide watching a movie is the thing to do.
Meanwhile, enjoy the holiday!
Yes, yes, a thousand times YES. It is THE film to watch at Christmas, in our household. It is funny, without any cynicism (unless you count GrandSanta: "Go wrap your head, Elf!") It has the Spirit of Christmas, without being sentimental. It makes me laugh every time, AND shed the odd tear. Perfect!
Scott & Ivy know. :) It's terrific. I tend to double-feature it with Rise of the Guardians but I'm weird.
Gremlins is always festive. But Scrooged is my favorite.
Eastern Promises is one of my favorite Christmas movies. God I love the Ice Harvest too!
I swear to you, I have to watch Trading Places *every* year! It's just not Christmas without it :)
