i found momcat

last night i was upstairs getting some towels, i opened the linen closet in the hallway and was suddenly eyeball to eyeball with this. i shut the door quick and retreated, took a shower and dried myself with napkins and dirty clothes.

which explains things, she wasn't in the kitchen last night, she was coming down the stairs. the whole house is now hers. milla and tatty treat her as they would a newspaper. though i hold hope in my heart that if an attempt is made on my life that milla will step in and lay down the law.

so, listening to the radio this morning and typing away on the powerbook, a survey of the vegitble crisper turned up half a zucchini who's day was near. i sauteed it in a little olive oil with a sliced portobello, put some fresh baby spinach in there and topped it off with some olive oil mixed with balsalmic vinegar and a crushed garlic clove.
