charges brought against teens for subway murder

There's been some progress in Sean Patrick Conroy's murder I noticed this morning.

I realize now that it's probably impossible to walk anywhere here and not be surrounded by ghosts -- even if they're just metaphorical.....

There isn't really an emotion in the human vocabulary to react to something like this -- outrage, anger, fear -- but mostly sadness.....

36 year old Sean Patrick Conroy died after being beaten by four high school students on a crowded subway platform. A Transit Police officer witnessed the attack from the opposite platform and rushed to Conroy's aid and performed CPR but was unable to revive him. One of the youths, 16 year old Kinta Stanton, was apprehended. Police said the four, who were truant from school, chose Conroy at random and attacked him "for amusement".

Teens facing murder charges for subway attack

All five North Philadelphia teens arrested in the death of a man who suffered a fatal asthma attack when he was jumped in a Center City subway station in March admit they were there, but they agree on little else.
One thing that is certain is that Arthur Alston, 16, even by his own admission, delivered the first blow that triggered the frenzied attack that left Sean Patrick Conroy desperately gasping for air and broke four of his ribs.
