October 26th, 2010

trillian_stars is celebrating my birthday by teaming up with the Not Ready for Afterlife Players for a special performance of Halloween Flashlight Tours at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.

It's not one of those goofy things where people with fake blood and fangs leap out at you from behind gravestones. It's real actors portraying real people interred at one of America's most awesome graveyards.

It runs October 29th and October 30th, tours depart starting at 7:00 and run until 9:00. There are two routes "Central" and "Northern" -- Trill's on the Central route which is also wheelchair accessible. (The "northern" tour runs past the monstrosity which is baseball announcer Harry Kalas' grave - an object of such Lovecraftian geometry that merely viewing it may leave you a gibbering idiot. Danger Will Robinson.) Tickets are $20 per person.

Private party with Trillian afterwards TBA, email for details. As usual, if you're coming from more than 100 miles away to see it, we may have space to house you in the Rock Star Hotel.

Violating my own ban on graveyard photos because, hey, it takes place in a graveyard!
