Kitty seemed to be doing well enough, eating, walking around, and Brainclaw was happy to be a larger family. they got kitty a vet apointment to get treated for fleas, earmites, all that. Well, anyway, the next morning, Tara came down to the studio to find the kitten dead cold and stiff. They were terribly upset (I won't say they were bawling like babies because they need to maintain their cold, harsh rock star image). Half an hour or so later they'd prepared a suitable casket, silk lined with a little toy mouse in it, and as Dave went to perform the unenviable task, he picked up the poor little thing, and it made a "gaaak!" noise. They immediately raced to the vet hospital where after careful listening with a stethescope, the vet said "This kitten is not dead! It's just mostly dead!" Kitty was admitted and stayed a week in an oxygen tent with an intubater breathing for him. It didn't look good, but eventually kitty was able to lift his head and finally walk. The doctors were amazed. This weekend, Fox came home!
He'll be living in Studio Audioviral for the next three months until he can be tested for FLV and FIP, but in the meantime he gets to monkey with the recording equipment and hob knob with whatever low-life rock stars are hanging out there making music.
