for breakfast roswell and i had lightly fried tofu wedges with shitaki mushrooms on a bed of wild rice with a thick mushroom sauce and sprinkled with some match-sticked pickled turnips. i kid you not. i got them at the local middle-eastern grocery store, typically you find them in falaffal sandwitches, but i wanted something tangy to counteract the earthy flavors of the rest of the ingredients. it worked very well.
