[mood |raaar! bigfoot!]
[music |10,000 maniacs: these are the days]

how come that as wealthy as this country is -- and the vast amount of knowledge and ability contained within the brain-trust of it's citizens, the massed resources of our nobel laureates, the dollars of our oil barons, the freely given sweat of our laborers, that THERE ARE NO GOOD MOVIES ABOUT BIGFOOT? why is that? netflix has nothing to offer me.

The sad reality...

The only good media representation of Bigfoot was the 1970s series "In Search Of" with Leonard Nemoy.

It scared the hell out of me when I was a lad... big hairy arm smashing into the trailer window and grabbing for stuff...

Ugh, I'm getting all sweaty just thinking about it...

Re: The sad reality...

I lived for the "In Search of..." series. They were the absolute best in speculative science, and Nimoy just rocked :-)

Roswell...

...looks like he/she has quite a few British Shorthair genes. The big paws... those cute ears...

The cat probably loves Doctor Who and Jellybabies.

imdb lists 62 titles with that keyword, though at least one is recognizably porn (and i'm not going to look at it any further.) none of those are any good?

A coworker and I were just talking about Bigfoot. When he moved to Washington State from Oklahoma, his 6 year old son was convinced he'd catch Bigfoot. (Apparently Bigfoot lives in the forests surrounding Spokane, WA. Who knew?) He said he'd track his footprints and use a net. Funny kids.

And, quite possibly the best picture of Roswell ever. She's just so gorgeous.

A little bird told me (well, mghicks who is neither little nor a bird) there's a Futurama episode with Bigfoot.

Try: www.futurama-madhouse.com.ar/scripts/4acv17.shtml

disclaimer: the big guy may not actually be >in< it, but perhaps >around< it
