While I'm working on getting my lighting techniques down i'm indebted to people who will let me photograph them and not complain that I keep moving stuff and adjusting things.

Here's whafford "back stage" at the museum with some of the thousands of artififacts not on display.

The conversation went something like this:

Me: "Stand right over there."

Dr. Brad: "Okay."

Me: "You should hold something in your hands."

Dr. Brad: "Like what?"

Me: "How about that bull's head?"

Dr. Brad: "I can't hold that."

Me: "Why not?"

Dr. Brad: "Because it's a fake."

Me: "It is? Nobody will know."

Dr. Brad: "Everybody will know. Look at this! Tell me you can't tell whether this is a Bronze Age artifact or a Rennissance forgery."

Me: "Um. I can't tell."

So please don't think ill of whafford, it's my fault he's posing with the forgery.

Nicki Jaine was there too.

I'll post camera nerd info in lj photographers.
