When Phil found Roswell on the back porch, she had an eye infection so bad that she couldn't see. She got treated and eventually got her sight back, now she's my spring loaded bundle of lard-filled joy.
City Kitties has a new kitten that someone dumped on the front steps of the vet's yesterday that won't be so lucky. She's lost both her eyes and will be permanantly blind (unless Oscar Goldman adopts her and gives her bionic ones that can see through walls). She needs a foster home right now and she needs a permanant home eventually. At the moment, she needs a quiet place where the food, water, and litter box will all stay in the same place.
Despite having no eyes, she's a sweetheart. If you click on this photo of her, you will not be able to resist taking her home. It's a little sad and gruesome, but heartwarming too. This little girl needs someone to love. If you live in or around Philadelphia and have quiet space, you could be the luckiest person on Earth. As City Kitties said in their post about her: Poor baby needs the best life ever to make up for what's happened to her..
Y'all raised eight hundred dollars for the kitten who had been hit by the car. You people rock my world. But that doesn't mean that City Kitties is rolling in fat wads of cash. You can always send them money. AAAAAND, you can set up automatically reoccuring monthly donations through paypal. Starting from $5 a month for six months.
Don't you love how my LJ has turned into all kittens all the time? Where's all the models and guns and the freakin Dresden Dolls, dude?
(oh yeah, Roswell's got a new collar.)
