Some of you have been around long enough to know Dr. Brad, aka whafford. He's a fantastically interesting archaeologist who is currently in Syria digging up an ancient temple, he's on his way to egypt where he'll be digging up tombs, and he's blogging the whole time -- you really should check out his tales of adventure. He teaches underwater archaeology and writing at Penn and is the person who writes all of the murder mystery's that we have at Casa del Milla.
Here he is at the Great Pyramids surveying tombs out by mastaba 2000 in 2001.
Secondly, I realize that some of you are here because of my book and are interested, one way or the other, in firearms. Max Cooper has done some really beautiful photo essays about gun stores and gun owners. His website, A Dark Topography showcases some of his work and you should check it out. Be sure to read "The Southern Man Shoots" which is a really wonderful essay, thought provoking and beautifully written.
Now, whose blogs should I be reading? What photography am I missing out on? Let me know.
