Watched the convention with whafford and trillian_stars (I thought S.P. did extremely well -- far beyond my expectations), watched an episode of "monk", then we started a pinball marathon which lasted hours & hours and involved me getting ... embarrassed. the scores were usually something like: 11,610 - 151,432 - 2,113,245 -- with me bringing up the rear. on the one hand, you can say "well, Kyle, that sucks" but on the other, you can say "Kyle, it's so good to hear that you're not yet bored with your pinball machine." That's the hand that I like to think on the side of.
Yesterday our good friend Jim called to say that he & his husband had bought a house, so we went to check it out. There's something special about an empty house.... The vast expanse of possibility unfolding in front of you. It's magic.
Portrait of Jim and Trillian in a house fraught with possibility. (John was upstairs ripping out ceiling fans.)
Is trillian_stars not the most beautiful, awesome, creature on the planet?
