Did you ever wonder where your favorite book was written? I sure have. As many of you have probably surmised, The Thing I'm Working on Right Now is photographing Fantasy and Science Fiction Authors in their Creative Spaces. This is going to be part of the souvenir program guide for WorldCon this summer, as well as a gallery show and I can't imagine it not turning into a book, as it is made of so much awesome.
This past week I was in Florida photographing Harry Harrison, (author of the Stainless Steel Rat books and Make Room! Make Room! the book that became Soilent Green), joe_haldeman, (Author of Forever War, The Accidental Time Machine, and Mars Bound -- (Forever War, I should note is being made into a movie by Ridley Scott -- how awesome?!)), Ben Bova (author of Voyagers, etc. etc. etc.,) and Piers Anthony author of 140 some novels, notably the Xanth books, the Incarnations of Immortality and Macroscope.
In the next few weeks I'm off to Ilinois to photograph Fred Pohl and Audrey Niffenegger, who wrote The Time Traveler's Wife. There have been many wacky adventures so far.
