On Sunday, October 9th I went up to New York City to the #OccupyWallStreet demonstrations and set up a small portrait studio with a 5x7 collapsable background and a last-o-lite easybox and a pair of pocket wizards and photographed people on Zuccotti square. After which there followed a week of wrangling with photo editors and today the Huffington Post posted some of the images I made. Nikon d-700 and a 28-200 zoom lens mostly around 35mm. Thanks to Paul Falzone who field produced and Katie who assisted -- wouldn't have been able to do it without them.
I wish I'd gotten some decent photos of the setup. If you were at Wall Street and took one, do contact me, I'd love to post it.
