I know that it's wrong to confuse climate with weather. But I'm having a picnic in the back yard on New Years Eve. Roswell is much in favor of this.
Many updates soon, my friends. I realized today that it's not how many friends you have, it's how your knowing what friends you do makes the world a better place that's important.
I'm grateful to know a whole passle of you and I think that the world is better for it.

It's probably about 65 here right now, sunny and mild and lovely. Monday it's supposed to be 36. Ah well.
Happy New Year!
It's pretty mild here as well.
I hope you have a wonderful year, Kyle! Cheers!
It was SUPPOSED to go up to the low 50s today, but here it is noon and it's still only 37 so I'm not holding out any hope on that. :/
Wishing the humans and kitties at your house a joyous new year's and a happy and healthy 2012. Never mind those pesky Mayans. ;)
A happiest of New Years to you, Trillian and Roswell too!
It's beautiful here also; I've been out on the hike and bike trail running, and kayaking on the lake in this gorgeous sunshine.
Sunday the cold returns, and there will be pots (yes, plural!) of soup to cook.
This is not a bad way to start the year. :-)
I'm in California. No rain in sight (this is not good) but mid-60s means hanging my laundry on the clothesline outside. This? Is not a bad thing!
Thank you for sharing yourself and your family with us. There have been times where it's been such a bright spot.
Cheers to that! And to picnics in the back yard. Or on the front porch. Or if possible, on the roof.
Happy New Year Kyle--I know my world is a better place for knowing you as well!
A Picnic... sweetie... it's SNOWING outside here right now. The thought of a garden picnic is distinctly unnerving at the moment. But I DO hope you (and Trillian and Roswell) enjoy (enjoyed?) yours...
Let me just say that you really made 2011 end on a high note for me. Thank you for the Sekrit Project coolness - and All Will Be Revealed Very Soon Now... In the meantime, just, well, thank you. I cannot adequately express in what measure.
Happy New Year!
