I did six, I think, "scenes" with John Carpenter while I was in LA doing this portrait. Brian C. Janes made a behind the scenes video of one of them. You get to see it from concept to final image with music by Amanda Freaking Palmer.

This is very cool! Thank you to all of you for sharing How It's Done. I especially like to see all the work done to set up, and then John Carpenter pops in for 10 seconds, and then he's back to work. I'm bet he was a lot more patient with the process that way.
