The last shot is very effective and the whole thing has a nice underwater look. You've got some crazy glitter going on - how was that done?
there was a a glitter airbrush going on in my living room. come roll around on the sofa, there's still plenty to cover you.
Too in London to take you up on that:)
It's always a blast seeing people I know in your journal. Steve and Donna are some of the nicest people I have ever met. And I love how still Steve is!
I kept waiting for the brass buttons on his jacket to suddenly move together. Shiny!
Alchemist! You've made the photos come to life!
(You did a ~fantastic~ job Kyle...)
What did you use to edit this? I have problems with CS3 Premier not reading any AVI files from my Nikon as anything but sound files...
I didn't do the editing, it's possible the cs3 does't understand the HD resolution -- i can't remember if it's hd or not.
It's HD: 1280x720. And the original video files have to be the same, if Kyle shot at 60fps; most DSLRs don't do that frame rate at full HD.
Apparently Premiere CS3 had big problems with HD files.
(That reminds me. Kyle: To get the singer's face to sync with the vocals, did you do that trick where you had her lip-sync to a speeded-up playback?)
yes, we had 2x and 1/2 speed versions of the song for her to lip synch to.

You seem to confirm that the jump cut is back in fashion! Still looks sloppy to me.
Stephen's 100% professional. When you say "go" he goes & does whatever needs to be done until you say stop. I think there may actually be some "behind the scenes" video I could post. I'll have to look for that.
This is so CAPTIVATING. I love it! I think it was good you didn't light Steve any more than you did, it works. All of the singer's movements are awesome. Well done!

i do love her backward motions. it came out pretty nicely. thanks!
I have loved their music for a long time. This is great. :) Thanks for posting it!
It was a bit disconcerting watching a video in this style, but with such a long average shot length. Not in a bad way, mind you. Just interesting.
are you at your office celebrating your new mighty influx of lucre?
