Real Inspector Hound at Curio Theater Tonight through Saturday
Simon Gascoyne is a cad, but he's good at cards. He's broken the heart of young Felicity Cunningham and dumped her for her more sophisticated friend, Lady Cynthia Muldoon, the wife of Lord Albert Muldoon who vanished a decade ago under mysterious circumstances. Birdboot, the theater critic is in love with the actresses playing both Felicity and Cynthia just as Magnus, Lord Muldoon's wheelchair bound brother is in love with Cynthis herself, but as Birdboot stumbles onto the stage during intermission, he gets mistaken for Simon, much to the horror of Moon, the critic subbing for first stringer Higgs, who then pauses in his indigence to wonders if Puckerage, his own understudy at the paper, hates him as much as he hates Higgs... But if Birdboot has suddenly become Gascoyne, who's Inspector Hound and what's with that body that's been on stage the whole time?
YOU HAVE THREE PERFORMANCES TO FIND OUT in Tom Stoppard's "The Real Inspector Hound". Tonight is one of them.
